What should you know?

Juice safety

Electronic cigarettes juice (e-juice) is made up of Propylene Glycol, Vegetable Glycerin Nicotine concentrate and flavoring. The FDA has found the two main ingredients in electronic cigarettes, Propylene Glycol and Vegetable Glycerin, to be safe for inhalation (breathing). These are the two ingredients in a fog machine. Little testing has been done for favoring, to see if it’s safe for inhalation. Some are now known to be unsafe like, butterscotch, or anything with alcohol.

The final ingredient is Nicotine concentrate. This is found by the FDA to be as safe as the nicotine patch or nicotine gum (in the same strength). For instance, 6mg strength gun, patch or juice, as far as the nicotine content are of equal safety.

It is important to note that concentrated Nicotine is unsafe to handle and proper care must be used. The average adult can get poisoned with direct skin contact with Nicotine concentrate 60mg or more. For a smaller child or animal, the deadly concentration level is lower. When working with Nicotine concentrate, be sure to maintain safety measure to prevent any child or animal to come in contact or consume any nicotine liquid, especially Nicotine concentrates. Always use proper protection if you work with Nicotine concentrates, especially higher than 38mg strength.

Battery safety

Battery safety begins with not overcharging and not over taxing your battery. Battery charging is a simple topic. Get a smart charger that will auto shut down after the battery(s) are charged. Any battery that is charged past its capacity can fail. This mean it will leak gas then explode if it’s still charged. Never continue to use a battery that has begun to fail. If an E-Cigarette device is used in such a way that it over taxes a battery, the battery (s) can fail. This basically means trying to draw out more power out of the battery than it can handle. Learn about ohms law, your battery’s amperage draws load abilities (how much power it can safely put out a t a time.)

Device safety

There are many devices on the market. Each with their own unique safety measure and suggested usages. Be sure to research any device you are going to use and use them as intended.
